Seems the area where I live is sometimes a testing ground for new food products to see if they will sale.
In the past there has been a type of slow microwaved grapes (they crunched when you ate them), and half popped popcorn, (they didn’t crunch when you ate it but were sort of chewy) neater it seems found a national market.
A few days ago I saw they were telling the item above.
Frava or Fruit + Java… i.e. caffeinated juice.
The variety I got was “pineapple orange” however on reading the label I saw that pineapple & orange came in third and forth as most used ingredients with water and apple juice being one and two. The caffeine it seems coming from green coffee beans.
The part that got me was the sell by date on the cap, 11/13/2015!
Almost a year and a half, isn’t that a little long for fruit juice to set?
I mean they suggest you not wait longer than a month to drink Diet Cherry Coke Zero and I think that might not even be organic.
Still I tried it… it tasted sort of pineapple orangey and I stayed awake. `Shrugs.’
For the record I was unusually gassy all day (realllly gassy), but I don’t know if I can blame the Frava for that.
